Jeff Wappelhorst, Public Works Director

Mr. Wappelhorst was originally hired by the City of Frontenac in 2002 as the Building Commissioner, Zoning Administrator, and Public Works Director.  He previously served as a Building Inspector for the City of Wentzville and Street Superintendent and Building Inspector for the City of Lake Saint Louis.  While serving in the US Army working in transportation, Mr. Wappelhorst was a Water Plant Operator as well.  He also studied at the University of Rolla.

The City of Frontenac Public Works Department strives to maintain a high standard of living and quality of life for Frontenac's residents, businesses and visitors by performing routine maintenance and infrastructure improvements to the public are of the City.

Improvements to the City-owned streets, sidewalks, storm sewers, signage, lighting, traffic control devices, public plantings and municipal buildings help maintain the City’s character.
